Operations Specialist

Operations Specialist

Operations Specialist

Job Description

At Ecomflow, we are redefining how ecommerce brands scale globally. Our cutting-edge SaaS platform seamlessly bridges the gap between brands, automated logistics, and global warehousing service providers.

As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for an operationally elite Operation Specialist to champion our cross-border logistics execution and manage vital partner relationships.

As the Operation Specialist, you will be the operational heartbeat of Ecomflow’s cross-border logistics ecosystem. You will serve as the primary liaison between our high-growth brands and our partner 3PL networks in China. This is not a passive tracking role; you will own end-to-end operational troubleshooting, rapidly diagnosing systemic or transactional issues, and ensuring that our cross-border trade pipeline remains flawless.

What You'll Own:

3PL Relationship & Performance Management: Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for our China-based 3PL partners. Drive accountability, monitor SLAs, and ensure seamless communication regarding daily volume forecasts and warehouse capacities. Holistic Escalation Ownership: Manage and rapidly resolve all complex, operations-related escalations raised by Ecomflow’s brand partners (e.g., inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, customs blocks). End-to-End Diagnostics: Utilize your holistic view of the cross-border supply chain to immediately pinpoint the root cause of failures—whether they stem from SaaS data integration errors, customs clearance documentation, or physical warehouse bottlenecks. Cross-Border Compliance & Flow: Oversee the smooth execution of inventory inbound, order fulfillment, first-mile, customs clearance, and line-haul processes out of China, ensuring compliant and cost-effective trade flows. Continuous Improvement Loop: Partner closely with Ecomflow’s Product and Tech teams to translate recurring operational pain points into automated SaaS product features.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Must-Have Qualifications Must have a proven track record working within an Ecommerce Aggregator, Ecommerce Logistics/Warehousing service provider, SaaS platform, or Cross-Border Trade (CBT) Marketplace. Must possess a profound, deep understanding of the end-to-end ecommerce cross-border trade process (including Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, HS coding, first/last-mile constraints, and international documentation). Must have direct, hands-on experience working with mainland China (CN) 3PL partners and supply chain stakeholders. Full professional proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to manage these relationships effectively. Ideal Personality Type Must have prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, rapid changes, and building processes from scratch. A proven track record of staying calm under pressure, managing multiple high-stakes escalations simultaneously, and solving problems autonomously. Additional Qualifications Full professional proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to collaborate effectively with internal teams and CN partners. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable navigating data-heavy environments (APIs, Webhooks, ERPs, and WMS software). A proven track record of staying calm under pressure and managing multiple high-stakes brand escalations simultaneously. Strong negotiation skills when dealing with external logistics vendors.
