Operations Associate Role – Referral Form

AI Safety South Africa (AISSA) is currently hiring for an Operations Associate, and we're offering a $500 Amazon/Takealot voucher to anyone who refers a candidate we end up hiring for the role. We're also offering a $200 Amazon/Takealot voucher if you refer someone to this form who then goes on to refer the candidate we end up hiring — so it pays to spread the word. Note that we will use your name when contacting any candidate that you've referred.

How does it work?

Fill in this form with your contact details and information about the person you're referring. The referred candidate should then submit their application through our regular process and mention your name as their referral. If your referral is hired, we'll contact you within a few weeks to arrange your reward payment.

How is a referral attributed?

Only one person will be credited per hired candidate. To be eligible, you must complete this referral form. If multiple people refer the same candidate, the reward goes to whoever submitted this form first. If the candidate credits you on their application but you haven't filled in this form, you will not be eligible for the reward. Final determination of referral reward eligibility is at the discretion of the AISSA team.

If you'd like to refer people who may be able to refer good candidates to this role, you should aim for people who currently have similar roles (they may know of colleagues who are seeking work) or you should aim for a superconnector who generally knows a lot of people and has a valuable network. If they name you as the person who referred them to this form the reward is still valid!

Exemptions

Candidates who have already been in touch with us or submitted an application are not eligible. Current and former AISSA staff, volunteers, and board members are not eligible for the referral reward.
