Australasian Youth Cubesat Initiative
We're looking for passionate and motivated high school and university students to join our global team as we inspire the next generation of thinkers, engineers and leaders by developing and launching Auahitūroa, our 1.5U satellite, into orbit.
We envisage a world where anything is possible, where inequality is a distant memory and where humanity can thrive and advance as a multi-planetary, space fairing society.
In 2021, we are launching an array of regional outreach initiatives, which will involve the facilitation of workshops, delivered in high schools, webinars, and a range of other events. Our goal is to have programs and facilitation teams in Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, South East Asia and the United States by 2022.
Our organisation is currently seeking students to join our satellite engineering, outreach and events facilitation, social media, finance and legal teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to be apart of a world-first initiative, to learn new skills, and to make lifelong connections. Applicants must be prepared to contribute to discussions, work efficiently in both individual and group environments; and agree to always uphold our core values.
We value all applicants as unique individuals, and we welcome the variety of experiences they bring to our organisation. We believe everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, sex, gender identification, sexual orientation, national origin, native language, religion, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law.
