This campaign is to fundraise for a disabled, queer writer of Haitang (a platform for web novels based in Taiwan), who has recently come forward to share her experiences, hoping to raise enough funds to pay off an exorbitant amount of fines to avoid being jailed - all over writing queer web novels.
The government is doing underhanded tactics to equate all queer writing as pornography. We are trying to raise $58,000 CAD, and are almost at 21k currently, to save a disabled author who cannot survive incarceration from this injustice. For this reason, all donations are non-refundable.
We no longer require entry fees to submit. Instead, we require you to spread the word about this campaign with flyers. You can donate 4 USD to the campaign to receive a discounted EPub of anthology upon publication.
