Library Help: Support our school library and help it run smoothly! Volunteers assist with tasks like shelving books and helping students find what they're looking for.
Walking School Bus Leader: Lead a small group of students on a walking route to school, picking up kids along the way.
Bike School Bus Leader: Lead a small group of students on a set biking route to school, picking up kids along the way on bikes!
Lost & Found: Help keep our Lost & Found organized and running smoothly! Volunteers sort and display found items, help reunite belongings with their owners, and periodically clear out unclaimed items for donation.
Organizing PTO Storage: Help keep PTO supplies and materials organized and easy to find!
Garden and Green Team: Help care for our school garden and support sustainability efforts on campus! Volunteers assist with planting, weeding, watering, food composting project and other hands-on projects that keep our green spaces thriving.
Art Literacy: Help bring art appreciation into the classroom! Volunteers lead grade-level lessons introducing students to different artists, art history, and techniques — no art background required
Yearbook and/or Photography Volunteer: Help capture and preserve the year's memories! Take photos at school events and/or help design and assemble the yearbook so every student has a keepsake to look back on. Volunteers also help ensure that families who've opted out of photos have their preferences respected.
Fundraising Support: Help power the fundraising efforts that support our school's programs and enrichment! Volunteers assist with tasks like event planning, outreach, and coordination for fundraisers throughout the year.
Website Volunteer: Help keep ptopalisades.org up to date! You'll maintain and update the PTO website with current information, event details, and resources for our school community.
Workroom Organizer: Help keep the staff workroom stocked and running smoothly! Tasks include refilling hand sanitizer bottles, restocking snacks, and keeping school supplies on hand for teachers and staff.
Cultural Clothes Organizer: Help organize and maintain our collection of cultural clothing used for celebrations and events throughout the year. You'll help sort, store, and prep outfits so they're ready when needed.
School mascot / mascot helper: Wear the mascot costume (or help the mascot get around) at school events
FY27–28 School Supply Order Coordinator: Help confirm next year's school supply lists are accurate before ordering! You'll meet with teachers to review the vendor's proposed supply list for each grade and make sure it matches what they actually want and need for their classroom.
