How would like to volunteer with Rooted?

Yardwork: Helping neighbors who are elderly or overwhelmed with mowing, leaf raking, and basic yard cleanups.

Neighborhood Home Repair: Using your handy skills or tools to fix a leaky faucet, repair a porch step, or tackle minor home maintenance for a neighbor.

Moving & Heavy Lifting: Helping a neighbor move furniture, load a truck, or clear out heavy items from a house or yard.

Neighborhood Welcome: Dropping off a small welcome basket and a Rooted calendar when a new family moves onto a block in the South End.

Meals for Families: Cooking and delivering a warm meal to a neighbor going through a tough season, a health crisis, or welcoming a new baby.

Senior & Hospital Visitation: Bringing a friendly face, a warm conversation, and a listening ear to local seniors or neighbors spending time in the hospital.

Tech & Gadget Support: Helping neighborhood seniors figure out smart devices, troubleshoot remote controls, or set up video calls with grandkids.

Prayer: Joining a dedicated group who commit to praying over specific neighborhood needs, lifting up our volunteers and families, and covering our community center events in prayer. You will receive text alerts with urgent prayer requests and praises for answered prayers.
