Session Dates and Times

The session will run from approximately 1.30pm-2.30pm on Tuesday 22nd September.

Location

Sessions take place on our allotment which is on Morecambe Road, Ulverston, LA12 9BN. We are on the righthand side of Ulverston Recycle Centre and the gate to enter the allotment is directly opposite the entrance to Marl Business Hub.

Allotment Safety & Supervision

The sessions take place on a real, working allotment with inherent risks. Please confirm you understand the risks associated with this type of activity and that you will supervise your child at all times.

Messy Play & Outdoor Site Information

Our sessions involve getting messy through horticultural and creative activities. We occasionally use child-friendly paints, which can stain clothing. Please dress both yourself and your child in clothes you don't mind getting messy.

We spend 100% of our time outdoors, so please ensure everyone is dressed appropriately for the weather.

Please note: There are no toilet facilities on the allotment site.

Phone Policy

Our project aims to reduce screen time by promoting art, nature, and physical activity. We ask that during our session, you please try to avoid using your mobile phones to fully engage with the activities and other participants.

Sibling Policy

Allotment Tots sessions are aimed at children aged 2-4 and their adults. To maintain the quality of the sessions and maintain sufficient space on the allotment site for activities, we are unable to allow older/younger siblings to attend the sessions. The only exception is for babies in arms. If you have more than one child aged 2-4, please contact us to discuss.

Our allotment site is a strictly nut-free zone due to a severe allergy. Please ensure no nuts or nut products are brought onto the site.
