We’re building India’s first beauty commerce concierge, bringing Sephora’s shopping experience to your home. We’ll be the first lifestyle commerce for the top 1% (similar to Firstclub for F&B, CRED for fintech).
You’ll build the infrastructure that supports the customer journey end to end: discovery, tracking, order and warehouse management, inventory tracking, data pipelines, routing algorithms, search, and personalization pipelines. We’re hiring multiple engineers into this team. Each person will own a meaningful subset of these systems while remaining flexible enough to work across the commerce platform as priorities evolve. Customer experience is paramount at Wingit, and you’ll be building a commerce backbone that remains reliable as we scale.
• Own a tangible part of the product end to end, from translating product requirements to building backend and platform systems, then maintaining and scaling them.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to build resilient systems while moving quickly without compromising code quality, testing, or quality assurance.
• Build the guardrails that make Wingit’s systems deliver an immaculate customer experience at every scale.
• Automate repetitive work and improve operational leverage so the team can spend more time solving high-leverage problems.
• 3–6 years of experience building production backend or platform systems.
• A strong individual contributor with depth in backend or platform engineering and enough breadth to work across frontend, infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and QA when needed.
• Someone who has leveraged AI to make better products, not only to ship faster.
• You value thoughtful reviews, maintainable systems, and production quality over output volume.
• Experience in an early-stage setup, building and scaling products from scratch.
• Experience in quick commerce or ecommerce.
• Open-source contributions, research papers, or a history of building products to make your own life easier.
