What if, for one evening, we could bring a little Delhi to Paris?

Join us for Dilli Wali Diwali, a celebration of Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, a time of light, joy, new beginnings and coming together.

Created by Paris Daily Life and Entre Mondes, this evening brings together food, music, poetry, comedy and art, with a community of people sharing their talents and cultures.
✨ A taste of Delhi and beyond

Discover a selection of Indian street-food favorites, prepared with love by our contributors:

* Faramarz: Pani puri, dal makhani, butter(not) chicken & crispy potatoes.
* Aakriti: Samosa chaat
* Luv: Masala vadai with peanut chutney
* Atchana: Gulab jamun

Rather than a traditional sit-down dinner, food stations will invite you to move around, discover different flavors and share the experience at your own pace.
🎶 Music, poetry and art

The evening will unfold through different artistic moments:

* Imran and Rizwan khan : Live tabla and sitar performances, bringing the sounds of Indian classical music into the room.
* Barnana: Poetry after the first musical set.
* Padma: Simple, basic mehndi designs during the first 30 minutes of the event.
* Luv: An exhibition by Club Collega, present throughout the evening.
* Faramarz: A Diwali music selection over the night.

🎉 More than a celebration

Expect festive lights, rangoli, Indian flavors and a welcoming atmosphere where people from different backgrounds can meet, discover something new and enjoy an evening together.

Wear something colorful or your favourite Indian-inspired outfit if you feel like it. Come curious, bring your appetite, and be ready to share the joy!

Dilli Wali Diwali is a community-created celebration of culture, creativity and connection. It's a little piece of Delhi, brought to Paris for one evening.
Drinks: Alcohol will not be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own drinks.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
