Employer Survey: AI Readiness and Skills Requirements for University Graduates

Dear Participant,

You are invited to participate in an academic research study entitled “Bridging the Market Skills Gap Between Lebanese Students and Employers: From AI Users to AI-Ready Professionals.”

The purpose of this employer survey is to identify the technical, artificial intelligence, and soft skills that organizations currently expect from university graduates and early-career professionals. The study also examines employers’ perceptions of graduate preparedness and the difficulties organizations may face when recruiting candidates with AI-related and digital competencies.

Employers operating both in Lebanon and internationally are invited to participate. This will allow the study to compare the skills required in the Lebanese labor market with those demanded in international labor markets and to assess how well Lebanese university students are prepared for both domestic and international employment opportunities.

This research is being conducted by researchers affiliated with the Faculty of Business Administration at Al Maaref University and the Lebanese International University (LIU). The study is being prepared for presentation at the 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Humanity (ICAIH 2026), to be held on November 5–6, 2026, at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK).

Your participation is voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifying information is required. Responses will be used solely for academic research purposes and analyzed in aggregate form. The questionnaire will take approximately 5–7 minutes to complete.
