Who we are
Charlie Gardner, trading as kindr, is responsible for your personal information. Contact hello@kindrkids.co.uk about your information or your rights. This notice covers our waitlist and related enquiries; joining does not create a marketplace account.
What we collect and why
We collect your first name (if provided), email address, buying/selling interests, clothing sizes of interest, email preferences and a record of consent and signup time. We use these to manage the waitlist, personalise our replies and understand interest. With your consent, we may email about kindr’s launch and pilot and occasionally invite feedback while we design and build kindr. Feedback is optional. If you contact us, we receive what you share. Please do not include children’s names, dates of birth, photographs or other personal information about them. Providing information is voluntary; we need an email address to contact you through the waitlist.
Our lawful basis
We rely on consent for these waitlist uses and emails. We rely on our legitimate interests to answer enquiries and maintain a minimal record of unsubscribe requests so we can respect your choices.
Who handles it
Tally collects and stores responses on our behalf. Tally states that form data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in Europe. Its service providers may also process information as explained at https://tally.so/help/data-processing-agreement and https://tally.so/help/privacy-policy. We also use Notion to organise waitlist responses for follow-up. Notion and its service providers may process information outside the UK, using contractual safeguards as described at https://www.notion.com/help/gdpr-at-notion. No separate email-marketing service has been chosen or connected yet; we will update this notice before connecting one, including relevant international transfers and safeguards. We do not sell your information or share it for other businesses’ own marketing. We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention
We keep waitlist information for up to 12 months from signup, unless you request deletion sooner. After an unsubscribe request, we may keep a minimal email/preferences record only as long as needed to prevent unwanted emails. Marketplace account information will have a separate notice.
Your choices and rights
Withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@kindrkids.co.uk, replying to an email from us or using an unsubscribe link where provided. This does not affect earlier lawful processing. Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restricted processing or a portable copy; you can object to legitimate-interest processing and direct marketing. Contact hello@kindrkids.co.uk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Changes
We will update this notice if our practices change and explain new purposes before using your information, obtaining consent where required.
