Engineering Project Continuity: Independent Market Research

Joseph Maxwell is conducting independent market research into how engineering teams deal with earlier analysis, assumptions, evidence and decisions after a project changes.

The purpose is to understand whether this problem occurs beyond Joseph's own engineering and materials-assessment work, how teams currently handle it, and where existing processes or tools already solve it well. This is not a product pitch and the survey does not ask you to buy anything.

Estimated completion time: 5 to 10 minutes.

Please do not include confidential, security-sensitive, export-controlled, personal or client information. Generalised or anonymised examples are welcome.

Participation is voluntary. Responses will be used for this independent research. Optional contact details are used only for the research follow-up selected at the end. They are not permission for unrelated commercial marketing.

Identifiable raw responses and research-contact information may be retained for up to 12 months where still needed for this research, after which contact details will be removed where no longer needed. De-identified or aggregate findings may be retained separately. Questions about this research can be sent to Joseph.Maxwell02@proton.me

Please confirm both statements to continue.

What usually triggers that work?

When a project changes, how does your team work out what the current configuration is and which earlier analysis, assumptions, tests or decisions still apply?

Which tools or processes are involved?

That's the core survey complete.

You can submit now, or if you have another few minutes, continue with additional optional questions about effort, ownership, workflow and follow-up. Continuing is entirely optional.
