I Care — Primary caregiver for children, aging parents, a partner, or others who depend on me.

I Build — Entrepreneur, founder, freelancer, creator — building something of my own, on top of everything else.

Every single day — this is just my life.

Often — especially during heavy seasons.

Rarely - they feel mostly separate to me.

You left a high-stakes meeting, held it together beautifully — and then sat in your car and cried.

You remembered everyone else's needs before you could name one of your own that day.

You worked through a headache, stress, or exhaustion because stopping felt like failure.

You lay awake at 2am running tomorrow's list instead of sleeping.

You felt fully behind on your own goals while perfectly showing up for everyone else's.

Connection with the people I love most. (Less present, more distant, showing up empty in my relationships)

Clarity and sharp decision-making. (Foggy, forgetful, second-guessing decisions I'd normally make easily)

Focus and strategic thinking. (Reactive instead of intentional; scattered instead of strategic)

Productivity and execution at work. (Moving slower, missing things, not bringing my best)

Progress on something I'm personally building. (My own goals keep getting pushed to the very bottom)

Physical health, sleep, or energy. (Exhausted, inflamed, not recovering — stress living in my body)

Meditation or mindfulness apps (Calm, Headspace, etc.)

Exercise or movement (running, yoga, gym, walking)

Community or sisterhood (women's groups, friends, peer circles)

Wine, food, scrolling, or something that quiets the noise (no judgment)

Honestly? I push through. Nothing has really worked long-term.
