FUNDRAISING OFFICER

Role Overview

Fundraising Officers support the development and execution of Posterity International’s fundraising strategy, helping build the financial foundation necessary to sustain and expand the organization’s programs and operations.


Unlike a semester-based internship, this is an ongoing role for individuals interested in taking meaningful responsibility for nonprofit resource development.

Key Responsibilities

Identify fundraising opportunities and potential donor audiences
Help develop and execute fundraising campaigns
Support individual donor cultivation and stewardship
Research prospective fundraising partnerships and opportunities
Develop fundraising materials, appeals, and outreach
Support community-based and digital fundraising initiatives
Track outreach, prospects, and campaign performance
Collaborate with Grant Writers, marketing staff, and organizational leadership
Contribute ideas for diversifying and strengthening organizational revenue

Qualifications

Interest or experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, partnerships, sales, business development, or related work
Strong written and interpersonal communication
Excellent organization and follow-through
Ability to think strategically about resource development
Previous fundraising experience is welcomed but not required

Compensation

This is an unpaid, volunteer-based position. Posterity International is a growing nonprofit organization, and all team and board roles are currently structured as volunteer contributions in support of our mission.
