The Workshop

Spend three days at St Saviour’s, Redbrook, learning practical masonry repair in a hands-on workshop led by experienced conservators. You will be helping to care for a Grade II listed church in the beautiful Wye Valley* while gaining practical experience in lime mortar, repointing, and thoughtful repair.

Pub-catered lunches are included each day.

*Despite its particular charm and historic significance, St Saviour's is on Historic England's Heritage at Risk register. The target for this year's workshop is to have completed enough work to allow it to be taken off this register — building upon, and thanks to, the successes of our wonderful participants over the past few years.

Fee Information

We endeavour to keep the course fees as low as possible.

- The standard fee is £200 for the full weekend or £100 for one day.

- CWF apprentices have their workshop fees and accommodation covered.

- Discounted and free places may be available for participants local to Redbrook; those who can commit to helping with future work on the building; young people who are just starting out; and those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
