Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well 🫶
As many of you might know, when I was 16 I was diagnosed with cancer. During that time, Coldplay became a huge source of strength and motivation for me, helping me get through some of the hardest days. I am incredibly grateful to say that I am now almost three years cancer free! :)
Last year, for the Wembley shows, I made and gave away almost a thousand Coldplay inspired bracelets and keychains. I wanted to share love, kindness and raise awareness about childhood cancer in the small way I could. After that, many people reached out asking how they could help or support me so I started thinking about how these friendship bracelets could become something more. How we could turn the kindness of this beautiful community into something even more powerful and spread love and support together. With this initiative, I’d love to try turning our shared love for Coldplay into a collective act of kindness, to help children who are currently battling cancer and to support their families during incredibly difficult times.
As part of this personal fundraising initiative, I am making more handmade Coldplay inspired bracelets. As a small thank you, supporters will recieve a bracelet they can personalise (song, colours, details,...). Each bracelet will include a small ribbon charm as a symbol of cancer awareness. The suggested minimum donation is €5, which helps cover shipping costs and allows the remaining funds to be donated. If you wish and are able to donate more, you are very welcome to do so but there is absolutely no pressure 🤍
All funds raised will be donated to Noa and Angels, a charity created in honour of Noa, my hospital roommate whom I met during treatment. Noa sadly passed away in February 2025 after bravely battling leukemia and Ewing’s sarcoma, never giving up. The charity supports children and their families who are currently undergoing cancer treatment at the same hospital where Noa and I were treated.
