Building the Future of Care in Asia and the Pacific

Welcome

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) has been spearheading efforts to address the challenges surrounding unpaid care and domestic work in the Asia-Pacific region. ESCAP has firmly established itself as a leading knowledge producer and policy development catalyst on issues related to the care economy and has used its convening powers to forge partnerships and new collaborations with Asia-Pacific countries, international development partners, civil society organizations and academia.
Building on this work, ESCAP is now exploring how broader societal changes — including demographic change, digitalization, climate change, urbanization, and inequality — may shape societies in Asia and the Pacific by 2040, and what these changes could mean for care systems.
This short participation form invites you to contribute to ESCAP's upcoming care publication and share your own perspectives on future trends, challenges, and opportunities related to care systems.
Fill out this form, contribute your ideas, and be acknowledged in the publication and/or featured on ESCAP's official social media!
