19. For LA28, cycling has a fixed total quota of 514 athletes: 190 track, 180 road, 72 mountain bike, 48 BMX Racing and 24 BMX Freestyle. Increasing the number of track cycling places could therefore require a redistribution of cycling's existing Olympic quota.
