2026 ACOR Member Show Application

The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) invites current ACOR visual artist members to participate in our 2026 Member Show, the inaugural exhibition in ACOR’s new space at the GARNER Historic District, 55 W. Railroad Avenue, #1A, Garnerville, NY 10923. The exhibition will be on view from November 2 through December 2, 2026.

As Rockland County’s arts council, ACOR is committed to supporting, promoting, and advancing the arts throughout the county. The annual Member Show celebrates the talent and diversity of our creative community while providing local artists with an opportunity to share their work, gain visibility, and connect with new audiences.

This year’s exhibition marks an especially exciting milestone for ACOR as we open our new space and begin a new chapter of exhibitions, programs, and opportunities for Rockland County’s arts community.

Please review the following exhibition guidelines and requirements carefully before submitting your application:

- Artists must be current ACOR members to participate. Join or renew HERE.

- There is no exhibition fee.

- Each artist may submit one artwork for the Member Show.

- 2D Artwork: Maximum 24" on the longest side, including the frame.

- 3D Artwork: Maximum of 12" x 12" x 12" can be accommodated.

- All artwork must be ready to display and wired.

- Artists with accepted Exhibition Applications must complete and sign an ACOR Exhibition & Loan Agreement prior to installation.

- A Condition Report will be provided and must be completed for the artwork you exhibit prior to the installation.

- ACOR will organize an artist reception and participation is appreciated.

- ACOR will notify artists of any sales inquiries and the artist will personally conduct transactions.

- In the event of a sale, ACOR suggests a donation of 25% of the sale price to ACOR.

- The Member Show, Artist Reception, Art Drop-off and Art Pick-up will all take place at ACOR, GARNER Historic District, 55 W. Railroad Ave., #1A, Garnerville, NY 10923.

IMPORTANT DATES:

APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 16, 2026 at 5 PM

EXHIBIT DATES: November 2 – December 2, 2026

ART DROP-OFF DATE: October 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

ARTIST RECEPTION: November 5, 2026 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM

ART PICK-UP DATE: December 3, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
