Soutien au journalisme en zones de fracture ⎮ Supporting narrative journalism from fracture zones

Le programme Kometa Fellows soutient des autrices, auteurs et photographes qui documentent le réel dans des contextes de guerre, de censure ou de fortes tensions politiques et sociales.

Nous soutenons des projets de terrain ambitieux, portés par une voix forte, une approche originale et une véritable exigence narrative.

Les projets retenus bénéficieront d’une bourse de 10.000 euros, sur une durée d’un an.

Le jury évaluera chaque dossier selon les critères suivants :

• la singularité de la démarche et l'originalité de l'angle ; • l'ancrage dans une expérience directe du terrain ; • l'ambition narrative : faire sentir, comprendre, déplacer le regard ; • la faisabilité du projet dans les délais impartis ; • la capacité à travailler en lien avec la rédaction de Kometa.

⭢ Avant de commencer votre candidature, merci de préparer :

• une note d'intention (1 page maximum) ; • une présentation détaillée du projet (5 pages maximum) ;

• un calendrier prévisionnel ;

• un budget prévisionnel ;

• un CV (2 pages maximum) ;

• des exemples de travaux antérieurs.

Temps estimé : 30 à 45 minutes.

The Kometa Fellows programme supports writers and photographers who document reality in contexts of war, censorship or severe political and social tensions.

We support ambitious, on-the-ground projects that are driven by a strong voice, an original approach and a genuine commitment to storytelling.

The selected projects will receive a €10.000 funding, to be paid over a period of one year.

The panel will assess each application according to the following criteria:

• the uniqueness of the approach and the originality of the angle; • the project’s grounding in direct, field experience; • the narrative ambition: to evoke emotion, foster understanding and shift perspectives; • the feasibility of the project within the given timeframe; • the ability to work closely with Kometa's editorial team.

⭢ Before you begin your application, please prepare the following:

• a statement of intent (no more than 1 page); • a detailed overview of the project (no more than 5 pages);

• a provisional calendar;

• a provisional budget;

• a CV (no more than 2 pages);

• examples of previous works.
