Okay... the last time I took a psychedelic was over a decade ago. But here I am, drinking coffee and scrolling through the news cycle on my back patio when I hear incessant pen tapping on hard plastic. I look up and experience a strange mixture of surprise, amusement, and reality-shattering confusion. Someone has just stepped through the tree line at the back of my property. Standing there looking at me impatiently, a clipboard cradled in one arm. And not human.
