Hey there! We are Shubhi Srivastava and Mridul Pandey, 3rd yr. design students at Delhi Technological University. We are working under YLAC as volunteers for the mobility champions program. Under this program, we are working towards bringing a positive change in respect to mobility, especially for pedestrians and making Delhi NCR safer for all commuters.
We are formulating a campaign focusing on how more often than not, pedestrians travelling from metro stations to their respective destinations avoid walking, or instead choose a longer route just to avoid certain stretches due to them feeling unsafe. This tendency of commuters leads to place feeling even more unsafe and isolated. Therefore, we are gathering insights on what facilitates this, and how we can improve upon this.
