Hello! Thank you for applying to work with COEO to deliver programming that outdoor educators of Ontario need. We are currently seeking proposals for our upcoming online workshop series, anti-oppression training for our membership and board, as well as inquiries for certification courses (first aid, canoe, kayak, and lifeguarding).
The aims of these activities are to:
- Provide PD opportunities for the community at a reasonable cost
- Provide places for us to grow as a community and make connections outside of the conferences
- Raise funds to support our bursary, travel grants, and other COEO initiatives that help make outdoor education professional development more accessible
Online presenters will be provided with an honorarium of $100.
The online workshop series will be offered at a reduced cost for members/free for members and offered at a cost to non-members.
For the certification and professional training courses, we will ask you to provide us with the cost per person to safely and responsibly offer the course. While we want to offer affordable PD to our members, we also value your expertise, resources and time.
