Angels Den is running the Founder Fundraising Readiness Programme, a practical three-part mini-series for student founders and university-linked founders preparing for future investor conversations.
Delivered with Warwick Business School at The Shard, the sessions are designed to help early-stage founders understand what investors expect, what to prepare before outreach and how to approach fundraising with more structure.
The programme is delivered by people who have seen fundraising from different sides of the table, including exited founders, founders who have raised multiple rounds, VCs, angel investors, finance specialists and startup legal professionals.
Session 1: Fundraising Readiness, Round planning, investor expectations, finance preparation, runway, use of funds, legal readiness and the practical gaps founders should fix before investor conversations.
Session 2: Why Investors Pass, What investors look for, common reasons founders get passed on, fund fit, traction, team, market, valuation, cap table and diligence gaps.
Session 3: The Founder Playbook, Real founder stories on outreach, warm introductions, investor pipeline, rejection, momentum and what it actually takes to raise.
