Wrexham Fencing Club will be running a beginners course in the exciting sport of sabre fencing. The course will give participants the opportunity to learn the basics, see the club atmosphere and finish with a friendly competition and awards night.
The course begins on September 18th 2026 and runs for 6 weeks, with the awards night on October 23rd.
The course will be run on Friday evenings between 18:00 - 19:30 at Clywedog School, Wrexham, LL13 7UB.
The course will cost £40 - this includes 2 weeks of additional club nights. We ask for payment in advance and will contact all participants will final info/payment details prior to the first night. Places are limited - when places are full we will operate a reserve list.
The course is suitable for fencers between the ages of 8-12. All fencing kit is provided. Participants will need long tracksuit trousers, a light t-shirt, trainers and a full water bottle each session.
Additionally to meet British Fencing insurance guidelines all participants will need to register for the free 90 day membership of British Fencing. Our club staff can guide you through this quick process on the first night.
