CEESA 2027 Call for workshop proposals

We invite teachers, educators, school leaders, administrators, and representatives of related organizations to submit a proposal for the conference workshop based on the conference theme and its strands.

CONFERENCE THEME OVERVIEW

Shaping Tomorrow: Innovation with Integrity in a Changing World

As rapid technological change, shifting educational priorities, and global uncertainty continue to reshape education, schools must evolve to remain relevant, responsive and sustainable.
This theme explores how international schools can embrace innovation while staying grounded in ethics, sound decision-making and a clear sense of purpose.
It highlights the need for adaptable leadership, agile systems, and continuous reform that balance technological advancement with ethical responsibility, educational quality and long-term sustainability.
The conference invites educators and leaders to actively shape the future of education by building schools that are innovative, principled, resilient and purpose-driven.
Proposals should align with the core theme and also explore related strands, such as:
• Meeting the Needs of All Students
Supporting students with exceptional needs, inclusive practices, assistive technology including AI, and strategies such as UDL and MTSS that ensure every learner can succeed.
• Safe and Secure Schools
• Leadership
Promoting physical and digital safety; strengthening safeguarding and risk management; and building school cultures where students and staff can ask questions, raise concerns and take risks in their learning.
Empowering educators, both teachers and those already in leadership, as change agents, mentors, and collaborative leaders in their school communities.
You can submit more than one proposal. 
Please note: Presenters/facilitators are entitled to a conference registration discount of $50. The discount should be shared if there is more than one presenter per workshop. This discount is only applicable to CEESA member schools.
Submit your proposal by Wednesday, October 14 (5 PM CEST). The conference organizers will email you about the outcome of your proposal by October 27.
All presenters must have the final approval of their school director or designee.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

Your workshop should be a hands-on, practical session offering tools, frameworks, and strategies for immediate application. It should create opportunities for collaboration and dialogue among participants. The focus should be on real-world solutions for today’s complex educational challenges.

WORKSHOP FORMAT

Each workshop is 60 minutes long. Prepare for 50 minutes of presentation/discussion and 10 minutes of transition time.
If selected, your workshop will take place either on March 19 or 20.
Most workshops will have a maximum number of 20 - 25 participants.
Standard conference room equipment and setup: projector with screen, flip chart with markers, theater style setup.  
Please bring your own laptop, chargers and dongles.
