Hi, I'm so glad you've found your way here!
Her Voice Sisterhood is a private women-only community for those who are sex-realist/gender-critical, where you can connect with like-minded women, chat openly and hopefully make some genuine friendships along the way.
Because this is a private group and some women share things they wouldn’t necessarily feel comfortable sharing publicly, protecting the privacy of the Sisterhood is really important to me. So I will be personally reviewing and verifying everyone before they join.
I've added a few questions below to get to know you a little first. There are no perfect answers, so just answer naturally and in your own words.
Once I've had a read through, I'll be in touch about the next verification step before getting you into the group.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and welcoming you into the Sisterhood soon! Let's see what we can build together đź’ś
Just a few little details so I can get to know you a bit better.
Where are you based? (Town/city and country)
Tell me a little about yourself...
Anything you’d like to share - interests, work, family, hobbies, what you enjoy or anything else you feel is relevant.
TikTok, Facebook, another woman/group, somewhere else? If someone recommended Her Voice, please let me know who.
What are you hoping to get from being part of the community?
Was there anything in particular that made you start questioning or thinking about these issues?
No textbook answer needed! I'm much more interested in how you'd explain it in your own words...
Is a women-only community for adult human females. We recognise biological sex as real and immutable and support women's right to female-only spaces, rights and boundaries. Does this describe your views too?
For example: friendship, general chit-chat, deeper discussions, local meet-ups, coffee mornings, walks, book clubs, online catch-ups, women’s rights discussions, sharing research and resources, support and advice, confidence in speaking openly, campaigning & activism, talks and events, regional groups, member-led projects, retreats, annual gatherings, or simply a private place to relax and connect with like-minded women.
Some women in the group aren't publicly open about their views, so what's shared by another woman inside the group needs to stay there. This includes posts, comments, screenshots, names, personal information and someone’s membership of the Sisterhood itself.
Please don’t identify, quote or discuss another member outside the group without her permission.
Do you agree to respect this and follow the Sisterhood rules?
This is just so I can make sure I'm approving the right account when you request to join the group.
Before welcoming new women into the Sisterhood, I would also like to have a quick informal video hello. Nothing scary or interview-y, just a few minutes to say hi and have a little chat.
It's another way for me to make sure there's a genuine person behind each application and be as careful as I can with the privacy of the women already in the group.
I know some women joining Her Voice are very private about their views, so if you're nervous about this, that's completely understandable and we can chat about it first.
Are you comfortable doing a quick video chat as part of joining Her Voice Sisterhood?
Please provide the best email address to use for your application and verification.
I may use this to arrange your short video verification and send any important information about your application.
Choose whichever you’re most likely to see.
