Fóir creates an API layer for your application, decoupling the UI and the server logic, this is the pattern that every mature software product adopts and gives the freedom to change the parts you want to change. Fóir has a paradigm of 'you own your own code', we handle the machinery around it, ensuring security, rate limiting, entitlements and authentication. Your logic can live anywhere and we will advise as part of this process where is best for that for your specific business.
If you want to leave Fóir at any point (although we hope you love it enough to stay!), everything can be exported to Supabase or standard Postgres. This means that you go back to the same stack you had previously, except now you don't have Lovable in the middle charging you a premium for the same service.
