An anonymous survey to make visible what companies still improvise before, during, and after maternity leave.
If you returned from maternity leave and thought, “This should have been handled better,” this survey is for you. And if you didn't return at all, your experience matters most of all, there's a short path for you too.
Maybe nobody did anything obviously wrong.
Maybe people were kind. Maybe your manager meant well. Maybe HR had a policy somewhere. Maybe everyone assumed things would work themselves out.
But still, something felt off.
Your role wasn’t clear. Your workload had shifted. Your career conversation never happened. Your return felt improvised. Or you were expected to pick everything back up as if nothing had changed.
I’m collecting anonymous experiences from mothers to understand what actually happens inside companies before, during, and after maternity leave.
The goal is not to blame individual managers or HR teams.
The goal is to make visible where companies still rely on goodwill instead of a real process.
I’ll ask for your company name because that’s how isolated experiences become visible patterns.
Your individual answers will stay anonymous. I will never share your personal story with your employer.
But if several mothers from the same company describe similar gaps, that becomes useful evidence to help the company improve.
This takes around 7 minutes. Your experience matters, especially if part of you has wondered whether it was “just you.”
Thank you for your time and commitment to improving the experience for future mothers!
