Fall 2026 NCCER Electric Level 1 Pre-Registration

NOTE: This class requires first passing NCCER Core. If you have not completed NCCER Core and earned your certificate, please register for the NCCER Core class instead.

What Students Learn (11-Week Course)

The NCCER Electrical curriculum prepares learners for a career as skilled professionals in the electrical field. It places strong emphasis on safework practices, while covering applied electrical theory and residential, commercial, and industrial electrical knowledge and skills. Coverage of the National Electrical Code® is integrated throughout to ensure learners are prepared as competent journeyman electricians. This class includes:

* Occupational Overview: The Electrical Industry

* Safety For Electricians

* Electrical Test Equipment

* Electrical Theory and Circuits

* Basic Electrical Construction Documents

* Introduction to the National Electrical Code®

* Outlet, Device, Pull, and Junction Boxes

* Wireways, Raceways, and Fittings

* Conduit Preparation and Bending

* Conductors and Cables

* Dwelling Wiring

By the end of the program, students gain confidence, practical skills, and a clear understanding of what to expect in their chosen trade.
Regular Class Times: Fall Semester: Saturday, August 15 - Saturday, October 31, 2026 Time: Saturdays from 8 AM - 2 PM Lunch Provided Graduation / Celebration Saturday, November 21, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Cost: $150.00 total, $100.00 registration fee to hold your spot.
