Get a Grip! Ask Me a Question

You can ask me an anonymous question (name fields are not required) about the following topic areas:
1) Masculinity - about your own experiences or culture in general
2) Men's psychology in the western cultural context
3) Ways to relate to men as a clinician, friend, family member, or lover
4) Ways to understand masculine devotion in specific situations or areas of life
5) Mens communication: spoken and embodied
6) Men in Craft and Trade and related work in the United States (present or past)
7) Gendered issues in various kinds of interpersonal and professional relationships If I have something to offer in response to your question, it will be alternative ways to think about and approach an answer to your question that serves compassion, clarity, conversation and connection. Rather than lean into blame or pathology, I aim to use curiosity as a tool of transformation and mutual understanding.
If you submit a question, there is no guarantee that I will answer it within a certain timeframe or even at all. Some topics may be outside my wheel house and require longer consideration or research. Some questions may be unviable for any number of other reasons. I won't contact you about whether i've answered your question, but if they are answered you will eventually find them as an answered question post on the Substack. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss a post.

Please include your contact information to send the response to your question and to track your payment in the event that it needs to be applied to a "Big Grip" Mentoring session.

What question would you like to ask me about masculinity, masculine devotion, men in the trades and craft, relationships with men, or related topics covered in the Big Grip Chronicles? You can ask follow-up questions to existing posts as well

Submitting a question places it in my review queue. While many questions will receive responses, submission does not guarantee a direct reply. Some questions may be answered privately, while others may be addressed anonymously (all identifying details removed) in Big Grip Chronicles for paid subscribers. Due to the volume of submissions, not every question can be answered.

Payments are for question submission and review and are non-refundable. If your question is not answered, payment can be applied toward a "Big Grip" Mentoring session within 6 months from date of question submission.
