QA Specialist & Project Coordinator @ Generative Studio

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist & Project Coordinator to ensure the quality and reliability of our AI-driven web applications while helping keep projects running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.
Location:
- Remote and asynchronous
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
- Perform manual and automated testing across different platforms and browsers.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test  coverage.
- Coordinate release processes and ensure smooth deployments.
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing.
- Help track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with task prioritization, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Maintain project documentation and process workflows.
Qualifications:
- Experience in software QA — writing test plans, executing test cases, and tracking bugs to resolution.
- Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g. Linear).
- Strong organizational and communication skills — you'll be coordinating across teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Proficient in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress).
- Development background — ability to run projects locally (pnpm, uv) and understand code changes and architecture.
- Interest in growing into project management or product ownership.
- Experience with AI/ML applications.
Employment Terms:
- Position available for 30-40 hours per week with a 3-month trial period.
