YAAAS (Yaa Asantewaa) Agency is a culture-forward creative bridge connecting visionary African talent to the world. Operating at the intersection of art, identity, and opportunity, we provide bespoke representation to a select group of multidisciplinary artists who are pushing boundaries, preserving heritage, and reimagining the future.
YAAAS is looking for a dynamic, culturally fluent Projects & Partnerships Lead to drive the development of our visual arts propositions, artist relationships, and cultural projects. You will sit at the intersection of creative execution and project management—working closely with artists, institutional partners, and collectors to bring exhibitions, creative residencies, and cultural initiatives to life.
Artist & Project Development: Manage relationships with selected artists, support their project lifecycles, and help shape new creative opportunities.
Curatorial & Production Support: Lead the planning, curating, and executing visual arts projects, exhibitions, and cultural programming from concept to completion.
Partnership Coordination: Liaise with galleries, institutions, cultural spaces, and private stakeholders to expand the YAAAS visual arts network.
Proposal & Deck Development: Translate creative concepts into structured project proposals, artist briefs, and presentation decks.
Operational Execution: Manage project timelines, production budgets, and documentation for ongoing arts initiatives.
Business Development & Opportunity Generation: Proactively identify, pitch, and develop exhibitions, residencies, commissions, grants, art fairs, partnerships, and commercial opportunities for our artists.
Stakeholder Engagement & Growth: Build and maintain relationships with collectors, galleries, institutions, brands, and cultural organizations to position visual artists and convert opportunities into active projects.
You'll be a right fit if you have

Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to take ideas from concept to execution.
A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities and building meaningful relationships with artists, institutions, galleries, brands, and other stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication, visual literacy, and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to understand and communicate different artistic practices.
