Radar Monster currently relies heavily on NWS radar imagery. On September 18th, they had an outage affecting both their generated images and their radar site, so I decided to try to whip together an experimental map (radar currently provided by the Iowa Environmental Mesonet) so that there would at least be a secondary source if the NWS is down.
