Sign Up for J-Day 2026!

We're returning to City Hall on Tuesday, September 22 to make some noise for youth journalism! Bring the energy to our press conference, where we'll be making a major announcement in partnership with the City Council. Then, we're testifying at the Council hearing on Portrait of a Graduate, new graduation requirements NYCPS is expected to rollout. We're making the case for NYCPS to adopt Journalism for All citywide.
Schedule:
11:30AM - Arrive at City Hall

1:00 PM - City Council Hearing
