Eligibility
Given the interactive nature of the course, proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement for admission as all instruction will be in English. Please note that course fees do not include travel or accommodation. If selected, participants will have to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend the course.
While the course does not cater to a specific difficulty level, it is ideal for those seeking to strengthen their skills in primary data collection, analysis and use. It responds to the needs of a rapidly evolving monitoring and evaluation ecosystem, offering participants relevant, practical, and in-demand knowledge to enhance the quality and use of evidence in their work.
Monitoring and evaluation professionals, researchers, and early to mid-level practitioners from implementing organizations and NGOs, as well as decision-makers and program heads at international and local development organizations, social enterprises, donor agencies, and government bodies who are involved in data collection or in using data to inform programmatic decisions, are encouraged to apply.
Please note that the focus of this course is more broadly on data collection and survey design strategies, and not on impact evaluation methods. If you are interested in pursuing a CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia training on impact evaluations, please apply to our course on Evaluating Social Programs.
Please note that the application takes about 30 minutes to complete and does not save your progress. The deadline to apply is 11th January 2026, at 11.59pm IST.
