Itinerary Highlights:

(7th August) Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Activity: Arrival in Xi'an, transfer to hotel (included). Free evening. Recommended flights: MU2070 (1400-1930) or TR134 (1655-0025).

Accommodation: Hotel in Xi'an

(8th August) Day 2: Warriors, Palaces & Imperial Dreams

Activity: Visit the iconic Terracotta Warriors. Explore the imperial gardens and historical site of Hua Qing Palace. Guide and transport included. The guide will conduct a briefing for the next day's train departure.

Accommodation: Hotel in Xi'an.

(9th August) Day 3: World's Highest Railway: The Ascension

Activity: Hotel pick-up and transfer to the train station. Board the Z165 train for the journey onto the Tibetan Plateau. The Z165 train departs at 09:27. Hard sleeper ticket included. The journey takes approximately 32 hours.

Accommodation: Overnight on Z165 train (Hard Sleeper).

(10th August) Day 4: Lhasa Arrival & Breath of the Gods

Activity: Arrive in Lhasa at 15:30. Check into the hotel and focus on rest and altitude adjustment. Explore the vibrant pilgrim circuit of Barkhor Street. Take some time to acclimitise, avoid strenous activity. Altitude is 3,650m.

Accommodation: Hotel in Lhasa.

(11th August) Day 5: Palaces & The Heart of Tibetan Spirit

Activity: Explore the majestic Potala Palace. Visit the spiritual heart of Tibet, Jokhang Temple (Dazhao Temple), and observe the devout pilgrims. (Optional: Visit Sera Monastery if time and acclimatization permit).Included Fee: Potala Palace entrance fee.

Accommodation: Hotel in Lhasa.

(12th August) Day 6: Tibet Overland: Turquoise Waters & Blue Ice

Activity: Depart Lhasa and begin the overland route towards Nepal. Visit the holy Yamdrok Yumco Lake (4,718m) and the massive glacier face of Karola Glacier. End the day in Shigatse. Long driving day blending slow travel with spectacular high-altitude landscapes. Included Fee: Yamdrok Lake entrance fee.

Accommodation: Hotel in Shigatse. Altitude: Shigatse (3,845m).

(13th August) Day 7: Monasteries of the Plateau & Everest's Call

Activity: Visit the immense Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. Drive into the Everest Nature Reserve and visit the Everest monument. Overnight near Tashichho Dzong town. Logistics: Driving into higher elevations today. Prepare warm clothing.Included Fee: Tashi Lhunpo Monastery entrance fee.

Accommodation: Hotel/Guest house near Tashichho Dzong.

(14th August) Day 8: EBC, Paiku & Himalayan Giants

Activity: Reach the ultimate goal: Everest Base Camp (5,200m). Find serenity at the reflective Lake Paiku (Pelku), mirroring the vast Himalayan giants above. Begin descent toward Gyirong County.Logistics: Highest point of the trip. The oxygen level is significantly lower. Drive to Gyirong, a lush border town near Nepal.

(15th August) Day 9: China - Nepal Land Border Crossing

Activity: Complete the dramatic China-Nepal land border crossing. Meet the Nepalese guide. Drive to Kathmandu and explore Patan Durbar Square, a masterpiece of Newari architecture.Logistics: Border crossing procedures may take time. Please prepare approx. $30 USD for the Nepalese visa on arrival fee.Included Fee: Patan Durbar Square entrance fee.

(16th August) Day 10: Kathmandu: Sacred Circles & Farewell
