Role Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales agents, driving client acquisition and deposits, and ensuring consistent revenue growth. This role is highly performance-driven, requiring strong leadership, hands-on sales management, and deep understanding of the Forex / CFD client acquisition funnel.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, train, and manage a team of Sales Agents / Conversion Agents
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (FTDs, deposits, call targets)
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve results
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s, call reviews, and performance evaluations
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
• Drive new client acquisition and First Time Deposits (FTDs)
• Ensure consistent deposit flow and revenue generation
• Optimize conversion rates from lead → FTD → active trader
• Implement strategies to improve deposit size and client quality
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets
• Create scripts, objection handling frameworks, and sales processes
• Monitor funnel performance and identify bottlenecks
• Work closely with marketing/affiliate teams to improve lead quality
Client Interaction (Hands-On Role)
• Step in to close high-value clients when needed
• Handle escalations and complex client cases
• Lead by example with strong personal sales performance
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Track key KPIs: FTDs, CPA, conversion rates, deposit volume
• Analyze team performance and report to senior management
• Use CRM systems to monitor pipelines and client activity
Compliance & Risk Awareness
• Ensure all sales activities comply with financial regulations and company policies
• Enforce proper communication standards (no misleading or aggressive mis-selling)
• Maintain awareness of KYC/AML procedures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with Retention teams to ensure smooth client handover
• Collaborate with Affiliate/Marketing teams on lead generation quality
• Coordinate with CRM and product teams on campaigns and offers
Requirements
• 3+ years experience in Forex / CFD brokerage sales
• Proven track record managing teams hitting FTD and deposit targets
• Strong understanding of sales funnels (lead → conversion → retention)
• Highly target-driven and results-oriented
