The Black Explosion is the University of Maryland’s first and only Black student newspaper. Established in 1970, the Black Explosion works to conduct reporting on Black campus life, issues and students. We hire students from all disciplines and backgrounds.
You must be a current or incoming UMD student to apply. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome.
