Flamsted of Vermont designs and manufactures architectural exit and emergency signs that turn an often-overlooked building requirement into a design feature.
We’re a growing Burlington-based manufacturer combining 3D printing, traditional finishing techniques, lighting components, and hands-on craftsmanship to create products for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects across the country.
The Role
Our Production & Fulfillment Specialist helps keep the entire production operation moving. You won’t be doing the same task all day — you’ll work across several parts of the process, from 3D printing through finishing, assembly and shipping.
What you’ll do:
- Start and monitor our 3D printers and prepare completed prints
- Sand, prep, prime, paint and finish sign components
- Assemble signs and perform final quality checks
- Package completed orders and prepare them for shipment
- Help maintain an organized, efficient shop
- Learn our equipment and help us improve how we make things
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys making things, solving problems and taking pride in a finished product that looks great when it leaves the shop.
What We’re Looking For
We care more about attitude, craftsmanship and reliability than a specific manufacturing background.
You’ll probably enjoy this job if you’re dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable using tools and interested in learning how things work.
Experience with 3D printing, manufacturing, woodworking, automotive finishing, painting, fabrication, model making or similar hands-on work is helpful — but not required.
Schedule & Growth
This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, primarily during normal weekday production hours.
Flamsted is still small enough that your work will have a noticeable impact. As we grow, there is opportunity for increased compensation and responsibility for someone who can take ownership of production and help us improve how the shop operates.
