You are joining a platform built on a single belief: that authors deserve to own what they create, earn what they are worth, and write in a world that genuinely values their craft.

As a Founding Author, you are among the first 50 writers to call this place home. Your name will be listed on our Founding Authors page. Your commission rate will be permanently reduced to 8% for as long as you remain with us. And your voice will help shape what this platform becomes.

Please note that this is the Beta stage of the marketplace portion of the platform, only. Significant visual updates, and platform additions will be happening over the coming months. The purpose of the Beta testing phase is to make sure that we have everything in the marketplace up and running, smoothly. We would like for you to share your insights as to the usability, functionality or any other ways to improve the platform with us. Please share it the founder@thepublishedplace.com email.

WHAT WE ASK OF FOUNDING AUTHORS

Being a Founding Author is more than an early access pass. You are helping build something that will benefit every author who comes after you. In return for your reduced permanent commission rate and Founding Author recognition, we ask for your genuine engagement during the Beta period.

I commit to uploading a minimum of one book to The Published Place within 30 days of receiving my upload link. *

I commit to actively promoting The Published Place to my existing audience through at least two social media posts, newsletter mentions, or direct author recommendations during the Beta period. *

I commit to providing honest feedback about my experience to the founder when asked, to help improve the platform for all authors. *

I understand that failure to meet these commitments may result in the withdrawal of Founding Author pricing and benefits, at the platform's discretion, with notice provided. *

After you submit this form, you will receive:

1. An immediate confirmation email to the address you provided, with a welcome message from the founder.

2. A follow-up email containing your personal secure upload link, your Stripe Connect onboarding link, and your Founding Author welcome package. As we are currently in Beta stage, this may take some time. Please be patient with us.

3. An invitation to join the private Founding Authors community channel.
