Mind Hack 2026 International Coding Tournament

Introduction

Welcome to Mindhack 2026 !!!

MindHack 2026 is an international coding tournament for students aged 7–17, designed to provide a structured and engaging platform to explore technology and creativity. Participants will take part in hands-on challenges across three categories:

- Coding & Animation,

- Electronics & Robotics, and

- 3D Design & Modelling

Throughout the program, participants will be guided by instructors from CIY.Club, receiving support and mentorship as they develop their projects. The experience focuses not only on technical skills, but also on problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills.

Theme

The theme for MindHack 2026 is “Guardians of the Planet”. This theme encourages participants to develop projects related to environmental protection and sustainability. Participants are expected to use technology to address real-world environmental challenges, such as climate awareness, conservation, renewable energy, or waste reduction. Projects may include interactive applications, 3D models, or electronics prototypes that demonstrate practical and creative solutions.


Eligibility Criteria

- Open to students aged 7 to 17 years old as of 31st December 2026 (i.e. those born between 1 January 2009 and 31 December 2019).Participants may compete individually or in teams of 2–3 members.
- Must be enrolled in CIY CLUB or ScopeIT partnered schools

Tournament Structure

Registration & Onboarding:

- Participants register individually or as a pre-formed team.

- Verified participants receive email invitations to onboarding sessions and training webinars provided by CIY.Club Myanmar.

Theme Camp (Mandatory):

- A one-day camp held at various campuses (with an online option for remote participants).

- Project guidelines, rules, and marking criteria will be explained.

Development Phase:

- Teams and individuals will have a designated period to brainstorm and build their projects.

- Mentorship: Participants attend coaching sessions for technical guidance and presentation prep.

Competition Day:

- Participants must present and showcase their projects to judges and audiences.

Rules & Regulations

Team Formation

- Participants may compete individually or in teams of 2 to 3.

- Teams must be formed independently by the participants; organizers will not assign team members.

Project Integrity

- Start Time: Project development must begin only after the Theme Camp. Any work created prior to the camp will be deemed invalid and lead to disqualification.

- Submission: Late submissions will not be accepted. All files must be uploaded via the official form by the announced deadline.

Attendance & Presence

- Mandatory Sessions: Attendance at the Theme Camp, onboarding sessions and all coaching sessions is required.

- Event Day: Every member of a team must be present at the event.

General Conduct

- The judges' decisions are final.

- Official communication will be handled through email and the dedicated Viber channel.
