Who We Are
Upside App Studio is an Istanbul-based mobile app studio. We build consumer subscription apps like Runday, Skylore, and Motoride, running on Scate.ai's infrastructure. We're a small, fast-moving team that makes technical decisions together, and we're looking for someone to build our new product's AI infrastructure from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who just wires up a ready-made AI API. We need an AI Engineer who can fine-tune open-source models on our own datasets, deploy them, and turn them into production-ready inference systems our mobile app can use. We expect strong skills in Python, LLMs/Generative AI, PyTorch/Hugging Face/vLLM, GPU-based deployment, and production API development + a love of fast iteration and high ownership in a startup environment. Staying on top of AI/ML trends and new models as they come out matters a lot to us. It will direct us for the product choices.
