COMN (short for "Common") is an early-stage civic technology platform designed to rebuild public trust in political information and make meaningful civic participation accessible to everyday people.

The platform combines AI-assisted, human-reviewed fact-based political content with community engagement tools and local civic action resources — all in one social app. COMN is built for the millions of Americans who care about what's happening in their government but feel overwhelmed, misled, or unsure how to act.

The team behind COMN is conducting research to better understand how Austin residents stay informed about local and national politics — and what tools could make that easier.
