A $750 non-refundable deposit is required by Jan. 15, 2027 to reserve your spot. Participants may either pay in full or divide the balance into 3 scheduled payments. If you would like to set up a payment plan, please contact us. We are happy to work with you. Final payment(s) are due in full on or before August 1, 2027.
Cancellations within 120 days of departure are non-refundable. All cancellations must be in writing and sent via email. There is no refund for unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to missed meals, hotel nights, and sightseeing. Tour rates do not include airfare to Peru. Participants need a valid passport with at least 6 months until expiration to travel in Peru.
As this retreat involves international travel and significant advance planning, comprehensive travel insurance is STRONGLY recommended for all participants. Travel insurance can protect participants in the event of unexpected trip cancellation, travel delays, medical needs while abroad, or emergency evacuation.Retreat payments are non-refundable within the stated cancellation window, and unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, or travel disruptions can arise. FORCE MAJEURE / UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the event that the retreat is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, acts of war, pandemics, or other force majeure events, refunds will be issued to the extent that funds are recoverable from our partners, vendors, and service providers. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of trip interruption, cancellation, or delay.
Caroline Nielsen, owner of Insight Eco Tours, will not be liable or held responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage to baggage or property, personal injury or death, delay, or inconvenience connected with the provision of, or failure to provide, goods or services resulting from acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers or circumstances beyond the direct control of Caroline Nielsen.Caroline Nielsen and Insight Eco Tours will further not be liable or held responsible for loss, damage, additional expenses, delays, or inconvenience caused by schedule changes, carriers or suppliers, force majeure events, pandemics or public health crises, weather, strikes, civil unrest, political events, mechanical failures, reasonable health precautions, or other circumstances beyond Caroline Nielsen’s direct control.
Participants agree that they engage in activities during the retreat at their own risk, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, hiking, excursions, and use of facilities at Willka Tikka Wellness. Participants acknowledge that participation carries certain known and unknown risks, including personal injury and risks related to high altitude, and release Caroline Nielsen and Willka Tikka Wellness, including its managers, officers, directors, instructors, employees, and agents, from liability as described in this agreement.
