Halifax Design Week is an in‑person pop‑up event that brings together the creative, scientific, innovative, business communities and the public for conversations, knowledge sharing, and skill transfers that help understand the past and present to build the future.
The first edition runs November 13–15, 2026, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and we are excited to invite you to take part.
Anyone in or near Halifax who wants to help make this happen. You do not need design experience or event experience. Bring some time, and we will show you the rest.

Event dates: November 13 to 15, 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia
We read every application and match people to the roles we need filled. We look at:
- Which roles you are interested in
- When you are free
- Whether we still have spots in that role
We may not be able to place everyone. Sending this form does not mean you have a shift. We will email you either way.
Volunteering is unpaid. Shifts are usually a few hours, not the whole three days, and we will agree yours with you before the event.
If we take you on, we will ask for an emergency contact closer to the time. We do not need it now.
