Please also note many countries already have commitments to participate in the wider global campaign to eliminate violence against women. Where possible, you are encouraged to explore and negotiate a joint activity for one of the 16 EVAWUD days of action.

Is your plan developed and led by women and/or gender diverse people who use drugs? Please briefly explain.

Which element/s of the WHRIN global EVAWUD campaign will you use for your activity? (i.e., poster, press release, logos, hashtags, etc.)

If  applying for a small grant, please set out here how the grant would be used (approximate budget for specified costs). A restricted fund is reserved for strong community-led proposals from under-funded organisations to support campaign actions and community mobilisation (not staff fees). Collaboration with local allied organisations is encouraged. Grant amounts will vary from USD 100 to 500 maximum for strong consortia proposals. Organisations that are able to self-fund and/or use the campaign kit for low- or no-cost activity are also encouraged to submit a proposal so that WHRIN can track and promote your EVAWUD activity.

Important note on AI-assisted proposals: We look forward to receiving your community-focused proposals. To best capture the context of your EVAWUD plan, we encourage directly written outlines rather than using AI assistance. We welcome submissions in languages other than English to support your authentic expression. Please note that the selection committee will favour community-led, strategic planning. Consequently, substantially AI-generated applications will fall outside the small grant evaluation criteria.
Early applications are encouraged, as this allows time for questions or clarification requests to be addressed before the deadline.
Applications due by Friday, October 9
