Nova is a design-engineering studio working at the intersection of strategy, visual design, and clean engineering. We partner with founders, agencies, and fast-growing teams to create premium, modern, high-impact digital experiences.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong UI/UX fundamentals and the ability to work quickly while maintaining polish and design consistency. Someone who understands layout systems, component thinking, and sharp aesthetics.
What You’ll Do
- Lead visual design for full web/mobile experiences, from concept to final handoff
- Create clean, premium UI across marketing sites, product pages, and landing pages
- Build component-based design systems aligned with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with developers and hybrid designers for seamless design-to-dev handoff
- Deliver responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Produce UX flows, low-fi wireframes, and quick iterations where needed
- Elevate existing designs with strong attention to spacing, hierarchy, and grid discipline
- Contribute to Nova’s design standards and internal design processes
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of UI/UX or web design experience
- A portfolio demonstrating premium visual direction and strong layout skills
- Mastery of Figma (components, variables, auto-layout, responsive constraints)
- Understanding of modern web design patterns and best practices
- Ability to design at speed without sacrificing detail
- Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers
- Strong communication and the ability to take direction AND provide direction
Bonus Skills
- Ability to prototype in Figma
- Experience with Webflow/Framer
- Motion or micro-interaction experience
- Brand or identity design experience
- Experience designing for SaaS, product sites, or agency partners
