Global Shapers Nairobi Membership Application (2026)

Welcome to the Global Shapers Nairobi application process!

The Global Shapers Community is a network of young people around the world who are committed to driving dialogue, action, and positive change in their communities. It is an initiative of the World Economic Forum, with more than 500 hubs worldwide. Global Shapers Nairobi is one of these hubs, bringing together young people in Nairobi to connect, collaborate, and create meaningful impact.

Before you continue, please check that you meet all four criteria:

1. You are between the ages of 18 and 27 years old

2. You live, work or study in Nairobi, or have strong enough ties to the city to take part fully in hub activities for at least the next two years.

3. You have a track record of leadership and teamwork, or can show the potential for it.

4. You can commit a minimum of 3 hours per week to hub work.

Timeline

- Applications close on 10 October 2026 at 23:59 EAT

- Application feedback will be sent between 17–18 October 2026

- Interviews will take place between 19–30 October 2026

- Final outcomes will be communicated on 4 November 2026

Before you apply

If you’re interested in learning more about Global Shapers Nairobi and connecting with current and prospective Shapers, we’re planning an Open House event on 3 October. This will be an opportunity to meet other Shapers face-to-face, learn more about the Hub, and ask questions about the community.
