Gamma Ray's respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you sign up as a Gamma Ray's member (a “Gamma-Naut”), we may collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, city and any preferences or other information you choose to provide.
If you choose to use Gamma-Naut features such as a member QR code, rewards or other loyalty features, we may also collect information about purchases you choose to link to your membership.
Providing this information is voluntary, although we may not be able to provide certain Gamma-Naut benefits, rewards, offers or communications without it.
How we use your information
We may use your information to:
Manage your Gamma-Naut membership; send you news, offers, events, Gamma-Naut perks and other communications you've signed up to receive by email, SMS and/or WhatsApp; provide and administer Gamma-Naut benefits, rewards and loyalty features; personalise offers, rewards or treats using information such as your birthday, preferences or purchases you've linked to your membership; and understand how our Gamma-Naut membership programme is being used and improve what we offer.
We only associate a purchase with your membership when you choose to identify yourself as a Gamma-Naut, for example by using your member QR code, phone number or email when ordering.
We won't use your personal information for unrelated purposes unless you give us permission or we're otherwise permitted or required to do so by law.
Marketing and opting out
You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe or opt-out option provided in our communications.
Opting out of marketing won't end your Gamma-Naut membership or prevent you from using available Gamma-Naut benefits or rewards.
Who we share information with
We may use trusted service providers to help us store information and manage our forms, customer database, Gamma-Naut membership programme and communications. They may process personal information on our behalf where necessary to provide those services.
We won't sell your personal information.
Keeping your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and retain it only for as long as we have a lawful purpose for keeping it.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate.
